Cafe Restaurant Mengin - Erlangen

Very nice location, good cakes, neat coffee. That's good service. Only the very high level of price does the assessment become a bit dizzy. Because even though everything was really fine, it was not extraordinary. The location is also beautiful, but this is 1, 2 roads further not different. We also had the impression that a lot of Erlanger would stay here, which would not necessarily be expected in view of the exposed situation. Worth a visit.

So much love for the profession: Yesterday we enjoyed the sunny weather on the terrace of Cafe Mengin and have come to the special pleasure of being served by Erika. Just magical! So much love for the profession, so much fun at work, you rarely find it. The cake and coffee were also very delicious. Free days are fun. I wish more operators would take an example, and despite mask the customers smile and go positively on them. This would make customers happy and then come back. Thank you Erika and thank you to the rest of the team.

Very nice café with friendly service. Our food was very good and was nice to see. The cake was also very good. The toilets were very clean and fine. We are happy to come back, unfortunately living in the southern area of Bavaria and wished for a café with us on site.

Very friendly staff, fine cakes, large selection. The double espresso was more of a taste, but also very good. I am very glad that there are still coffee houses like this. To whom the prices here are too high, this must not criticize, but should go somewhere else, where his 08/15 coffees and cakes “savour”.

I've known Cafe Mengin for more than 50 years and I've always loved it. Has good atmosphere, good cakes and good food as well as friendly service.
