Main Street Cakery Cafe - Erie

If you like crappy frozen food heated up in a microwave, this will be heaven for you. Worst of all, our waitress was zoned out on another planet. She sat a few tables behind us talking to her friend about how her boyfriend won't take her to Virginia Beach. Blah, blah, blah. Hey Karen, how about taking our order. It's too bad this place sucks. I like supporting my hometown. Go elsewhere. Does this restaurant offer table service in theory, yes. In truth, no.

Should be prosecuted for using the word cafe in their name! You will wait for a table for an absurd amount of time, only to be served over cooked food with no seasoning whatsoever. And their coffee, it 's just not good, just not good.

Excellent food, excellent service. We highly recommend the potato pancakes! Went there for breakfast and baked goods. Can't wait to come back next time we're in the area.

We live in Cambridge Springs and we had early doctor 's appointments this morning. I was looking online last night for a place we could stop for breakfast and stumbled upon the Cakery Cafe. We always thought it was just a bakery whenever we passed by on the way to the Mall or elsewhere. I looked over the menu online and liked the selections and the prices were reasonable, too. We stopped in this morning and I ordered the flagship breakfast which was biscuits with two eggs on top and covered with sausage gravy. My wife chose the half order. We were both very pleased with our breakfast and the service was good as well. Very homey atmosphere. Definitely check this place out.

I am quite unsure why everyone in Erie County hasn't figured this out yet BUT Main Street Cakery Cafe's (one in Fairview and Cobblestone) is truly one of Erie's absolute best family owned local restaurants! Amazing is the word to describe everything!!! If you have NOT tried them.... DO IT! Tonight walked in and it smelled heavenly. The 3 of us split FRESHLY made (still warm fresh) Cinnamon sticky buns with ice cream and whipped cream and that was after out meals that none of us could complete and we finished it.... it was AMAZING! Comfort food and awesome service everytime! BTW: Best server ever
