The Craftsman Tavern - Encinitas

The craftsman Tavern is a must. Unique and tasty cuisine, an extensive beverage menu and always a lively atmosphere. Due to their popularity we had to wait for a bit, but when the Brittany finally came to us (they had several tables at the same time), we had an excellent and attentive service that was lacking nothing. My only complaint was that my salmon looked delicious, but sadly overcooked quite dry. On the other hand, the Rock Steak was delicious and was a huge part. Perfectly cooked. Next time, I'll decide. Oh, and if you go, you have to try the crunchy truffle popcorn!

Don't go if you want the main rib. Au jus super salty and it was covered in a pool by him and meat hard!! Small portions for the price. Steak was tough too. Good service. If you like to see TV while you feed, there are about half a dozen of them in a small room.

Beer cheese fondue to die. It happened to be brunch on a Sunday and had great service. The bottomless mimosa was great every time my mimosa was low, it was gone until we were gone. Sweet potato sauces were also delicious.

MY! That was by far the best culinary experience I had for so long! The food was PHENOMENAL and the service was so inviting. My fiancé has even forgotten to pack his hat and Shane tan outside to make sure we didn't leave him! She was the best! Hats of her! Will definitely come back

I cannot rate this place high enough. Giovanni made the experience so fun and engaging, the entire staff was extremely accommodating, and the food is phenomenal. We had a group of 25 and the restaurant even customized the menu for the day of with our event name on top. We are definitely going to become regulars here. The outside atmosphere was fantastic and chill, the food was DELICIOUS, and the service was on point. Everybody in the group commented on how great the experience was and how fantastic the food was. And the manager came out at the end to say hi and ask about our experience- overall 20/10 would recommend this spot.
