La Pagode D'or - Elsene

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family since the 1980s and 1990s. The food is delicious and the restaurant is fantastic!

Very yummy cantonese duck...a stired fried veggie dish is also excellent...the owner doesn't speak English but he can understand us.

A safe value for 20?, 30 years? Simply excellent and quite correct frame.

After a reservation concern in another Vietnamese restaurant in the Place de la Petite Suisse, we landed in La Pagoda (technically the restaurant is called the Pagoda d'Or, a restaurant that has been known for many years. Without regrets: The resto is very nice: the decor is rather sober and chic, the comfortable seats and the menu is well finished! The service is pleasant and fast. Side plate now! I started with vegetarian nems, very nice, served with chili sauce. On request, I quickly had a very nice soft sour sauce as well. Unlike other restaurants in style, here there was salad and mint in sufficiency to devour the nems! Then, after having long hesitated with the vegetable noodles (which were apparently very good also, I chose the duck with pancakes and leeks. Another success! The duck was perfectly cooked, the skin was crispy. Really great! Small flat at the time of tea: jasmine tea really didn't taste much but it didn't ruin the meal or the evening: Anyway, a success again!
