Chipotle Mexican Grill - Elmhurst

You would think a chipotle around the area would be great ... wrong ! Staff is friendly but they don?t know one bit about prepping a proper bowl and isn?t that the whole premise of this chain. Also I ordered a quesadilla today hoping to rave about it but not only did they squish it in a bowl packaging but the side I ordered which was red salsa did not come with it. This is not the first time they disappoint. You can tell all their training went into customer service skills because they?re always so cheerful (which I don?t mind) but none of the training went into actually serving food.

Let me start by saying, they don?t know how to properly serve a meal. The portion was way little compared to other Chipotle chains. The guac tastes good, but be ready to find other things like the tiny stem from the avocados. Just open your eyes when you eating your meal, you might have to pick around things and there might be a surprise ingredient. Def, will stay away from this one. The reason I gave 3 stars, it?s because they?re quick, but I would def prefer to wait a bit longer and have a proper served meal. Thanks, but no thanks.

Customer service is beyond terrible...the line server was too busy having conversations with the cooks behind him while at every step trying to make my bowls. I get to the counter and I pay for several items. The cashier bags everything in one bag which would probably break by the time I would have made it out the door. So I asked for another bag, to divide the food equally. She hands me a small bag with no handle so I ask for a bag with a handle and she gives me the biggest eye roll she could give me and shrugged her shoulders. I would have gladly paid for the bag if it was such a problem. Will not return to such a place customer's are treated with disrespect. This happened to be on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the afternoon around 3 pm. Been to many chipotles and never been insulted like this especially over a bag!

Portions are small, most of the time food isn?t wrapped right. Half of the time when ordering food for pickup, the meat is cold. I live 3 blocks away, and always order for pickup but the convenience factor really isn?t working anymore.

Terrible service, rude and unfriendly staff. This is the third time I ordered chipotle and I keep getting the wrong order and when I try to call to make sure my order is correct.
