Slow and poor service, outside tables are awful, by the bins…..took fifteen minutes to make a cold press. Scrambled eggs were microwaved. No excuse as there were only five other people

We visited here a while ago and it wasn’t a great experience then however we decided to give it another try today and what a big mistake. The selection of food available was really poor and this was approx 1100. There were 3 sad looking pastries on the counter and we selected two of them. We were asked if we wanted them heated which we declined. It was only when they were brought to the table that we realised they were stale and rock hard, which is the reason for them wanting to heat them. It’s actually such a shame as there is so much that could be done to turn the place around right now the prices are a rip off, food is such poor quality and we certainly won’t be back…..

Dirty and disorganised. Definitely needs someone to turn it around. Cakes were old and stale and coffee very poor. Go to one of the other cafes

Hi, I visited your store in Esher on Saturday 23.4.22 and I just wanted to provide you with some feedback. I visited the shop with my wife, we are often in your shop and have always had an enjoyable experience with good service. Sadly this time it wasn't enjoyable. We had to endure the private conversations of your staff whilst waiting for our drinks which took approximately 10 minutes, there were only 6/7 other people in the shop who appeared to have already been served food and drink. The staff on duty were very young and seemed too interested in their own lives. There was two males and one female the female was telling a story of how one of her male friends had kissed someone else and describing how unfair it was, her feelings etc. Whilst we sympathize with her a place of work isn't the place for this and we were sat in the area near the back door, so if we could hear her so could everyone else. After 5 minutes my wife politely enquired where are drinks were, seen as we had already been served our food and had eaten it. My wife said the staff were just standing there. After a further 5 minutes I went to the counter and asked is it reasonable to wait ten minutes for coffee which were only just starting to be made, no excuse was offered in fact the younger of the three was somewhat brush with me stating as he was the only one making coffee he would make it. Following this exchange I was offered a full refund which one of the staff actioned before I left, but I still haven't received this. I hope some extra training for the staff would be beneficial here and perhaps such young persons wont be left on their own in future. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Iain Woodward

Filthy cafe, even a Christmas bauble on the floor!! toilet revolting.Coffee poor, brownie was stale. Will not return!!
