Ray's Family Restaurant - Elgin

I hate to make the weekend breakfast line any longer, but Rays does it right. Everybody will wait a few minutes. The owners are over-the-top friendly and treat you like a welcome guest. The old school dining room is a bit crowded. Everyone gets along. Thebreakfast stuff will arrive fairly fast and it is clearly cooked with care and delivered with pride. Good food, great pricing.Five stars for Ray?s.

Just had breakfast (Country Fried Steak)for the first time at Rays and I must say the food was delicious! The hash browns were so good! I will definitely be coming back soon. Service was awesome and my boys loved it?.especially the lollipop they got fromour server when we were leaving (Ugh I wish I could remember her name)

If they love good home cooked breakfast, hard to beat. I got a couple out yesterday while we're dealing with this virus. I also had the opportunity to talk to the owner. great guy trying to get through this season. a place we want to keep open in any case. fantastic service, breakfast was wonderful, price right.

Always a great experience. great prices and even better eating and service. the owner is a wonderfully pleasant man. recommend this little gem in elgin.
