Mr. C's Hot Dogs And More - Elgin

One of the best places to get a hot dog. Prices are dared, I say it very cheap. Remember a place my parents take me and my brothers when we were kids. If you love fritted things, go for the dog, you will not be disappointed. Her wife had the crooked beef and she said it was fucking good.

5/2022 5* First time here. Just got the two hotdog special. Nothing special to note. Fries were fantastic. But the hotdog was typical a typical Vienna Hot Dog. Drinks were Pepsi which is a plus in my book. Service was good. But quite slow. Nobody waiting in front of me. One To Go order ahead of me. Took over 10 minutes to get my two hot dogs. But they were yummy. When around there again, I will be back.

We were out taking a drive and my bf pulled into this place. We will be coming back. Very friendly staff. Guy from the kitchen came out to double check my order and make sure he got it right. Food was not bad. But i want to compliment other cleniness of the place. The bathroom was spotless. I even made sure to wipe off the sink that got wet when I qashed my hands to leave it just like i found it. You know what they say, if the bathroom is clean you know the kitchen is clean too.

In our first visit, we dined in. The owners are the nicest people and the food was good! The prices are reasonable considering inflation. We had a soup of the day, hotdog and fries with everything and a 6-piece Teriaki chicken wings. I think all the food is cooked to order so there is a wait but its not much unless you’re in a hurry.

Slightly unfriendly staff. Really long wait for 2 hotdogs n fries. I would probably skip this one next time. Had high hope because of reviews.
