The Coffee Bean Tea Leaf - El Rio

This place is very inconsistent. Can the employees get on the same page be properly trained? Once in a while bring my laptop to work from here because it’s close to home. Other places are consistent with their refill policy, not this place. Such a shame since it’s so close to home.

I like the tea there and the very relaxing atmosphere.

My coffee was perfect but Lee took a while to assist me, and when it came time for her to take my order I heard her say “can you repeat that?” So I repeated my order kindly. She proceeded to give me a rude and confused look and say “ICE BLENDED?!” I said yes. I asked her for decaf and oat milk which I didn’t receive my order as.

Friendly staff in a decent location right off the 101. A local tatterdemalion was making the back part of the shop (where the restroom is available) his hang-out which was an overall detractor. Otherwise, the drinks were speedily delivered and tasted good.

The manager of this branch is amazing. Runs a tight ship. She gets orders out quickly even though it gets really busy. Remembers people's names and coffee orders. The best.
