Bidrage med feedbackThis is a really fun place that has both locals and tourists filling it every night. The bar seems always full at the rail, and there are tables in a dining room that are super comfortable. Our server was extremely attentive and polite. The food was a little bit Limited in that they just had some mostly Asian style dishes, but what we had was really good: fried rice, egg rolls and kabobs. This atmosphere is extremely well done for a Polynesian bar restaurant, and I would highly recommend it.
Fun drinks, small but very well made dishes. The spring rolls are fresh, crisp, and the sauces are great. We had the firecracker shrimp and orange chicken. Portion sizes were plentiful, and both proteins well cooked and flavorful. Would definitely go back if we are back in Paso.
Any tiki bartender that doesn't know what navy grog is should not be allowed to serve, nor should the establishment be classified a tiki bar. Our bartender was dismissive at best, slightly rude, at worst. That said, the decor is incredible, the drinks are decent, and the food is meh (and overpriced). My wife and I had high hopes, being tiki bar fanatics from LA, but this place set us back close to $125 before tip for two cocktails, two non alcoholic cocktails, and some appetizers. We might give it another shot at some point, but we were both underwhelmed.
We were in paso robles for the weekend and came across this bar after dinner. it's a cool concept, and every hour, you have a storm lightning show or some sort of entertainment. To be honest, the drinks were just too sweet for my taste. there's not a whole lot to do out here, so make the best of your night.
Master crafted beverages, and their Mug is the biggest in my collection so far!
