Mikeska's -b-q Catering - El Campo

Not the best bbq but not the worst either. I have passed this place a few times today decided to stop. I got the rib lunch. The ribs were ok, rancho beans ok, potato salad ok. Nothing really stood out like this is good Price was good and you get a big Texas size portion. The bbq sauce was weird to me and didn 't pair well with the meat. The decor was dated and whats with all the in the corner? Time to get rid of some of those. I even got beef jerky to go haven 't checked it out yet. I 'll come back to try something else just hold the sauce.

Was pretty late , around 7.10pm the place was still open and the meat was very moist and tasty, I was thinking that so late into the day they may not have all the smoked meats and/okay taste dry, but I was wrong! The staff was very polite and nice, the place is a bit outdated but doesn't matter much with such good people and food! The portions was more than enough for the almost $12 that I spend for the deluxe menu. Definitely I will stop again next time!

Thank you for the best chopped beef sandwich we have ever eaten! So much flavor we wanted more! Definitely will be a returned stop on our next trip!

Where can you go and get a BBQ lunch plate for under $10, and it actually be good? Here, thats where!!! Big enough to fill my working man's appetite, and didn't break the bank!! Thought it was a Jerry Mikeska's out of Columbus, Texas; but Maurice apparently knows what he's doing too!! Good and full!!

Best barbecue spot in this place and surrounding area. The ribs were fall off the bone and the brisket was so moist and soft. The barbecue sauce had a unique flavor nothing I've ever tasted before highly recommend if you're in the area. The staff were friendly and the dining experience felt very home like
