Thai By Day - Edmonds

We walked in approx 7:15, after checking online and seeing an 8pm close time. We weren 't sure if we 'd be able to order in or out or at all given it was getting close to closing time, so we popped in to ask.The gal at the counter was quite abrupt and seemed upset or just exhausted/grumpy, telling us they close at 7:30 and takeout was the only option. We were fine with that and thankfully placed an order. The whole time she had no expression and didn 't say a word other than some sighs and "It 'll be 20 minutes. "The food itself was absolutely amazing in flavor and value. We will totally order it again in the future we just hope that if that lady was having a bad day, that things have picked up for her in the meantime and maybe we can get a friendly exchange next time. ?

More than the usual Thai options. Everything is great, even the usual Thai options!The people are genuinely happy to have you in and offer excellent service. Also, make sure you try the puffed shrimp chips! Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow just amazing food and service! I am from Portland and have had tons of Thai food and this Thai food was top 3! The mango sticky rice was the best I’ve ever had and the lime aid Thai tea was something I’ve never had before! All the food was also so good! I will be coming back here every time I visit Edmonds! The server was also so nice!

Walked into a very dirty restaurant filled with boxes and plants. Tables were not clean. TV was droning on and entire place smelled old. Had satay and coconut shrimp as well as pad se ew. All of these items were very bland and the peanut sauce that came with the satay was lumpy. The shrimp dish didn’t taste like coconut at all and was mainly onions? The chicken in the pad se ew was extremely overcooked. It was very expensive. I have heard nothing but excellent things about this place so I made the mistake of bringing someone for their birthday. I’m baffled by the good reviews? I wanted to love it but there was nothing to love.

I am visiting from out of town and had lunch here. I loved it so much that I went a second time. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. There are plenty of options for my daughter who is vegan. Highly recommend!
