Malt Shovel Inn Edinburgh

We had Steak and ale pie and a burger. Burger was nice. Pie not so much. It wasn't a pie!! It was shredded meat in a gravy on the plate with a piece of puffed pastry plopped on top. Very disappointing. Wouldn't return. Staff were very nice.

Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere. Sports available on the TV and a good selection of Malt Whisky

Nice little pub, serving good drinks, although they did overcharge me on the spirit and mixer. Atmosphere is a bit dry and the staff are very nonchalant.

Busy pub with nice good and lovely friendly staff. We had the steak and ale pie and it was delicious!

Welcoming staff, good food, always enjoy the atmosphere here! Will be back again definitley! Highly recommend!!!!!!
