Another pleasant evening at TGP. Between the fun karaoke, a surprise engagement and an Oriole thrashing, the entire night was filled with emotion. As usual, the service and food were top notch. Food is not great and comes from Sysco trucks or they go to the local Redners for spot buying. I had some of the grosses questionable chicken from this location and one of the nasty 's home made sauces. Small draft menu, decent selection of spirits, but this is a locals bar. I 've had homeless walkers beg me for change while I was trying to enjoy a meal. The owners did nothing and acted 'surprised ' by this behavior. Only redeemable feature is their patio bar with live music and the Oyster selection. Outside of that, this place is just another locals sports bar off 40 in an area with HIGH crime and frequent disorderly, arrests, and even gun violence in the last several months in and around that area. Parking: Large lot connector from 40 E and West.
