Bidrage med feedbackGyro tatziki sauce needs alot of work. Doesnt seem to be made with real dairy products. Tastes artificial n chalky and bland. Also gyro was very chinsey on gyro meat. For price charged. Old owners did much better job. Fries were very soggy too no taste. Place needs work and a higher quality of food.
Gyro was small, I ordered the meal and was asked did I want drink or not, I chose not but was not told I would still be charged. I could of gave drink to someone else. I should've been asked what drink do I want. No telling how many times they do that everyday.
New management now, hear the food is still pretty good. I will try it another day.
Great Local Spot for Lunch or DinnerEddy's Gyros is a local favourite in the East Chicago area. I had the pleasure of visiting Eddy's during a recent trip to the area. I was visiting customers at nearby Indiana Harbor and one of my colleagues suggested a good place for a quick lunch.Off we went to Eddy's. Upon arrival, we noticed a small parking lot right outside the restaurant. We ended up parking on the street which has free parking. Inside, Eddy's a few tables for a sit-down meal, restrooms and a counter for ordering. The menu is clearly written on a board over the counter. Ordering and payment are quick and easy. I ordered a simple Gyro Plate which comes with Gyro Sauce, Onions, Tomatoes, Lettuce and fries and a side of gravy. My meal was delicious and a was a very healthy serving so I didn't leave hungry, and I will be back.Eddy's has been around for a few years and used to go by the name Columbus drive Gyros, but changed their name a few years ago. Eddy's serves up quite a few food offerings such as traditional Gyros, Chicken Gyros, J Gyros, Italian Beef, Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Phillys, Burgers, Fish and Chicken sandwiches. If you're looking for a quick spot for lunch or dinner give Eddy's a shot.
