We just ate at the restaurant and enjoyed good food, huge portions, great service and lovely atmosphere.

After working a 14 hour 3rd shift and driving here for an additional 3 hrs from NYC for a family wedding in the area, i was denied early check in by a snarky 20 something for no good reason. I offered to pay more if needed. I was forced to sleep in my car in the parking lot from 6am until 11am when i was told the room would be available. An incredibly kind older woman checked me in at 11am and was pretty upset to hear my story. She disclosed that the hotel was not completely booked and the employee i spoke with at 6am could have easily put me in another room. She promptly accomodated me and later refunded us $100 for the inconvenience. While i was happy for the compensation, it did nothing to make up for the lost sleep. To add to the frustrations from very early in the day, we found the bed to be worn out and very uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and the walls are paper thin so every noise was heard as if it were there in your room with you. Dont be fooled by this hotels clean updated asthetics and attractive photos online, Its primary means for comfort is nearly non-existant.

Nothing great, the food was satisfactory. The bathroom was a C minus. Wouldn't go back.

Had a wonderful memorial luncheon. Everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. Amazing wait staff and incredible food. IMO this is the finest place in the area.

The facility is immediately adjacent to the Geisinger Medical Center which for our needs during the stay was paramount. The staff from check-in, to housekeeping to the amazing on site restaurant treat you like family with kind and courtesy we've rarely experienced at other properties.
