Denny's - Durham

Positiw are 24 hours. Eat was good! the friend of cons server sat at the bar and got free drinks. server do not slow down and interact with any table. patrons are simply another ball on a task list that should be completed. empty tables not cleaned for 20 30 min.

We went to a later dinner and many of the tables were dirty when we came in. there were only 2 tables of other diners. I had the turkey club sandwich that was very good on the 7-gran bread. my man had fried land steak. the heavy was extremely salty. the waitress did not come back to check us until we finally got their attention at the end of the meal to fill our drinks.

Service was good to get seated; however, it went downhill after that. It was at least 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Then our food order was taken and it 's taken close to 30 minutes for the food. 7 staff behind the service bar. Restaurant 60% full. The plates came out with crusted food on 3 of the 4 plates. We asked for the manager. The acting manager came over and we showed her the plates. We asked for the manager and we showed and told the manager the plates were filthy. I 'm not a big fan of Denny 's to begin with, but this just justifies my reasoning.

Who likes toast without butter? I certainly don’t. This was my second visit here. The restaurant is very understaffed. Attention to detail is lacking. There is no focus on the customer experience (at no time was I asked if everything was all right, not even by the manager while I was paying for my ordeal). The sole waitress was doing her best, but when you juggle too many balls; they get dropped. This place needs to hire more people and pay more attention to detail.

Waitress was very customer friendly. However, for that place to be empty, service was the worst. The slowest service in history. Had to keep asking my waitress for certain things only not to ever receive, until I was walking out the door. Order pancakes with my meal, received everything but pancakes
