Branding Iron Family - Durant

Yeah, we like this place... Are here for a few years, some of the menu elements are total errors, test and errors you get on the right path. Beef Tips and Chicken Fries are always good, hamburgers are ok, but not fresh ground, I appreciate frozen patties. Have a good salad bar that is included at meals and the prices are reasonable. However, child selection could use some improvements. Fee .99 cents for water, type of cheap shot to the customer, but still a great place. Friendly people, family owners.

The bet and the burgers were good. The Tilapia was just not our thing. (Another could enjoy it. The fish was underseasonal. My mom gave me half. I threw it on my husband's plate. He took a bite and confirmed that the smokie was taste because it had grown up farm. Oh, well, we'll stay with the meat next time!

I drove through Durant and saw this place. I like to discover Loch-in-the-Wand gems. This place had good reviews, so I decided to try it. I wasn't disappointed. Steak could have had a little more taste, but the salad bar and baked potato-condiment bar were great. It has an old family family ambience and service was friendly, fast and helpful. I would definitely recommend eating here.

I absolutely LOVE the potato soup! I would eat it everyday if I could. I live an hour away and make the drive because I just love it so much. There for a while somebody was adding salt and different spices to it and it was just awful so we stopped going. I'm glad we decided to go back because it's like it used to be again. The owner has always been very nice and the place stays clean. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Absolutely amazing old school food. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Brings back great memories of what food out used to be like. Can not beat the price for amount and quality anywhere except grandma's place. People and owner are a fresh air of politeness.
