The Loading Dock Grill - Dunmore

Food was excellent, service was fine but not extraordinary, and the place had a nice feel to it. The sandwiches and such were reasonably priced, but the end result on the bill was just higher than local competition, partly because of the $7.50/glass for draft beers. I'd easily get a carry-out sandwich from there again if I were in the area, or any of the entrées to split; they're enormous and looked good. But I don't see wanting to dine in again. Vegetarian options: They did have a vegetable wrap that looked good, and also a penne with marinara that sounded boring, but not a lot of options.

My favorite restaurant. Awesome food, awesome staff, and a great atmosphere.

Where I'm from had THE BEST fish fried haddock around (with an exception for Jamestown NY). That being said, The Loading Dock is one of the better fish fries around. As for Scranton in particular, I've yet to find a better fish fry than here. Everything here is good AND the prices aren't bad. NOTE: It's my understanding the owner is VERY MUCH about cleanliness, so do yourself a favor and ALWAYS use a coaster for your drinks. Seriously.

We had an Awesome experience! The wait wasn’t long for 7 people and the food came out hot and fresh in very little time. The staff was great and got to know us made our dining experience great one. We will be back to dine soon.

Good food, good service. The entrance is very dark.
