The Taft Room at Montclair Country Club

Brunch with Santa was wonderful and that Santa was phenomenal with the kids! Very easy going atmosphere, didn't see a single kid cry with Santa.

This is not a special occasion or fine dining venue as some of the previous reviews suggest. Perhaps for brunch, but surely not for dinner. Nowhere near the opentable suggests. The view is good, but the food is really mediocre, at best. The menu posted on opentable is nothing like the real menu, which is more like something you’d find at a pub. The drinks are on point, which explains the behavior of some tipsy smokers by the door. The service is good but not attentive as you’d expect from a fine dining experience. This is a private country club restaurant that tries to appeal to the public, but is nowhere near a legit restaurant experience. We were the only ones in the so called “Taft room” which is a good indication to stay away.

The Mother's Day brunch was great. The family enjoyed it. Great good! Great selection!

The Mother's Day Brunch was fantastic. Despite our late reservations and never having been there before, we were pleasantly surprised. The buffet had a beautiful variety of food and the views were great, despite the bad weather. We would definitely go back again!

Wonderful brunch at an affordable price! The staff is welcoming and non-members can also dine here.
