Bidrage med feedbackOne of my favorite restaurants. The people there are super nice and the food be bangin
It was very soft. They didn't stir fry it enough and there wasn't a lot of flavor. It was oily as well. It wasn't horrible but I've had way better chow fun than this.
Richard's SHORT SWEET SERIES RUYI DELISH is located inside JUSGO the International Food Court. We've tried a variety of dishes here and currently it is my wife's favorite place. She loves the sautéed green beans. No matter what other vendor we as a family order our food, we always come get the green beans here as a side. The flavor is light and clean and the bean still have a slight crunch to them and taste oh so fresh! I suppose that is the advantage most of the restaurants here in the food court have considering there is a farmers market attached just next door! The SINGAPORE FUN MEI is also pretty good, but if I'm being honest, I've had much better versions of this dish at other restaurants. There menu is large, so I hope to try many more items in the future. Also, it might be worth noting the ladies working here are among the nicest I've come across. Very accommodating and give you a sense of eagerness to earn your business. The food court is divided into two sides with plenty of communal seating which is great for social distancing on not so busy days. I'm not exactly sure of all the ethnicities represented in the food court, but to me it feels like a Tour of Southeast Asia. Common areas are clean and the bathrooms are spacious and nice. The wifey and I come to resupply at the Jusgo regularly, and this stall inside their big compound seemed new or redesigned, and I have the impression we 'd eaten here before, but just now I got around to review them. When we eat at the food hall, we like to eat night market style, as in buy one thing from many stalls and share. This time we ordered the 8 ingredient tofu dish, which is wifey 's favorite. As you can see from the picture, it has a bunch of ingredients, hopefully totaling 8, and the star ingredient is the fried tofu. The other ones are a mix of vegetables, seafood, and fish, all bathed in a clear, very garlicky sauce in this version. The tofu was freshly fried and melted in the mouth, in other words, delicious. The veggies and seafood were good too. The only issue was that the garlic flavor overpowered the dish, and we were left smelling our own garlic breath within our masks for awhile. Yuk!The one negative we experienced was the long wait time. There weren 't many people ahead of us (only 1) and they waited a long time to get their food. I think they do a lot of takeout, but I didn 't see many pickups while we were waiting. The other person was visibly annoyed, but since we were already eating from another stall, it was ok for us to wait. Eventually it came out after what seemed like 30 minutes, with a soda thrown in as an apology. We will continue eating here, but not get this dish. Wifey didn 't like the garlicky tofu.
Who knew food court food could be so good? Got the Eggplant Fish, Green Beans Pork, Mongolian Beef, and Fried Rice Noodle Beef. All were delicious, the prices were good, and I got my grocery shopping done while waiting for our takeout order. Would definitely come back!
