Twisted X Brewery - Dripping Springs

Not planned on a Sunday afternoon while you drive home from Austin. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful to explain their different beers and finger foods. There were no food trucks today, so the Fat Boy and Turkey tried wrap for a few bites and the Nutty Brown for a drink. Nutty Brown was a beautiful dark wheat with a strong taste of peanut butter. The Fat Boy was surprisingly good as it was cream cheese with a nice kick to him. On the enclosed terrace there were live music and a few benches. Outside there were several seating areas and games to play. It was a cold day and I was just through, so did not last long, but will come back when things warm up. Definitely seemed like a nice way to enjoy some drinks, try the food trucks, and listen to live music.

Nice place with entertainment. The chicken tamals and Salsa Verde are great. Good beer offer. From a flight of 6 beers, 5 were very good. Faves were the McConauhaze, the west coast, the Tropical IPA and a Bourbon barrel selection. The Tropical Double IPA is dangerous. Smooth and no idea what you drink. It was great. My wife enjoyed the Blackberry Fire Water Sprayer. Thanks guys for a great visit. See you soon

What a great place to spend the afternoon. I really like the transition from inside to outside wit the roof and sisters and sun cover. Live music on a Sunday afternoon. Good beer (I personally favor the IPA and Double IPA). Many sweet dogs. A truck behind. You have met the formula exactly right for a nice afternoon

It was really fun to stop here while we visited Dripping Springs on Sunday. We thought we would just stop for a quick snack and stay a few hours. I had the Golf Kolsch and my wife the McConauhaze. The food was great too. The twisted frits and the fish tacos try when you stop here.

We popped in to try flights and had a great time enjoying some tasty brews in a comfy setting. We were helped by Josh, the exceedingly friendly bartender with an encyclopedic knowledge of beer. This is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious beers in a hip and family friendly environment. Tons of great outdoor space in addition to the seating in the taproom. Definitely worth stopping by to check out!
