Bidrage med feedbackStorm-free Bude. Yes also for parents is a storm-free bud once a nice time. The children are great enough and go their ways. What do you do on a Saturday night with the woman? Sure, go to the restaurant. And since the lover loves Indian cuisine, it was a place where we were not yet eating. I became busy on Louisenstraße in the pub district of Dresdner Neustadt. The “Little India” is hidden behind a small shop window pane, just opposite the “Jaipur” in the Indian restaurant, and thus makes his name all honor. Two places were booked in advance by online portal, the confirmation came promptly. So nothing could go wrong. Actually. Suddenly on this Saturday morning a good friend of us came up, who works as Sous Chef on an expedition cruise ship, and has just 3 weeks of landing and home trip. Since his family naturally also wants something from him, this evening was the only free date for the first time in his schedule before he is back on the world seas for 4 to 5 months. So we asked him if he didn't want to spend the evening in Dresden. And of course he had, and how. So it was for me to reserve another place at our table. So when the “Little India” had opened, I stuck behind the phone, and unfortunately it had to hear that the small place was completely out of stock. The boss noticed my disappointment, and was also afraid to lose customers directly to the competitors. So he considered and discussed with someone in the background until it finally managed to get the third place under. Fine. Now we went to the party zone of Dresden on this rainy and cold Saturday evening. Here you can catch a parking lot almost on a six in the lottery. If one has found one, one should not forget to leave its obolus on one of the many park pillars, because the city of Dresden is getting rid of it and controls it around the clock. So after we had fed the one-armed bandits with our coins, it went to “Little India”. Little India We were welcomed by the head of the house directly at the door. After checking our vaccination status, we were brought to our place, from which we could look into the kitchen as well as the events in the restaurant. The small restaurant is equipped with padded wooden benches along the walls, cozy and also padded chairs, and so-called two tables. Thus you are flexible in the local area and can vary the tables, depending on how many guests belong to the company. This allows you to effectively use the small space. After we sat at our table, the menus were already handy. These are simply held, laminated and bound to a proper menu. On the table was a greeting from the kitchen, consisting of a kind of chapati a vegan fladen bread with a mint yogurt dip and a mango Chutney. Greetings from the kitchen While we liked this little greeting, we studied the extremely plentiful menu with over 100 different dishes, so we didn't know what we actually wanted. Extract from the menu So order the drinks first. We chose: · 1x 0,33ér bottle King Fisher (stock) for 3,50 € · 1x 0,33ér bottle Cobra (stock) for 3,50 € · 1x 0.2ér glass Pino Grigio (dry) from Italy for 3,90 € The drinks were at the table within two minutes. Unfortunately, there are only bottle beers here, but due to the confined spaces, barrel beer is apparently not possible. King Fisher (Lager), Cobra (Lager), Pino Grigio (dry) Now we had to choose our dishes. We always wanted to order an appetizer and a main dish. At the appetizer, the boss advised us that everyone takes an appetizer as his main foods would be very big, and in the end too much remains. So we opted for an appetizer, but this should be designed for three people. Sowe ordered as an appetizer: · 1x A plate with various Pakoras and minced meat Samosas for 12,90 € As main dishes we wish: · 1x Lamb Palak delicate lamb with leaf spinach in Curry cream sauce according to traditional Nordic style for 13,90 € · 1x Lamb Malvani Curry delicate lamb meat with fresh coconut variety But the first glance was disappointing, we wanted a record for three people, but this was the one offered in the menu for two. So we had two Qeema Samosas filled with beef chopped meat, peas and cashew nuts. Peas TK, fried beef too dry and crumbling. Qeema Samosas filled with beef meat, peas and cashew nuts Cashew nuts disappearingly low. The outer dough crispy to very firm, so you had to fight to crack it. There were two Onion Bhaji – fried onions with spinach and potatoes. These were crispy outside, a delicious spinach filling inside. There were also a pair of aubergines Pakora, a Turai Zucchini Pakora, two Chicken Pakora and two fried onion rings. Also these Pakoras outside crispy, inside a pleasantly creamy filling of eggplant and zucchini, the chicken pleasantly soft. The fried onion rings as they must be, not too pappy, pleasantly firm and the panade of chickpea flour crispy. Add fresh salad and fresh cucumber, on top a sticky dressing from a kind of masalasauce. As far as okay, but for three people too little, or stop sharing stupid. A quarter of an hour after the appetizers our appetizers were also at the table. The Lamb Palak the delicate lamb in leaf spinach and curry cream sauce in a traditional Nordic style was as usual a large steaming bowl full of spinach. Lamb Palak delicate lamb with leaf spinach in curry cream sauce according to traditional Nordic style The lamb pieces were relatively large and delicate, but for this one could almost count the pieces on one hand, because more than 6 pieces were unfortunately not. The spinach creamy and very spicy, the curry cream sauce slightly sharp, but for my wife still so ok. For that it was not declared sharp, but then already marginal. Lamb Palak My Lamb Malvani Curry – the delicate lamb with fresh coconut, refined by a great variety of Indian spices in homemade fiery Masala Curry sauce, according to traditional mahararashtra style, was also a large bowl like my wife, but with a red steaming sauce. Lamb Malvani Curry delicate lamb with fresh coconut, refined by a wide variety of Indian spices in homemade fiery masala curry sauce, traditional mahararashtra type The really delicate and large lamb pieces had to be found here, however, more than 6 were not here. The sauce, on my wish, only seasoned in sharpness 1, there was a small glass with an Indian, sharp chill mixture. Sharp 1 is probably intended for ordinary Europeans, sharpness 2 is in the way of Little India, and sharpness 3 is then for the very hard. As already said, the mixture was optimal for me, but I also tried the sharpness 2 under the guidance, and quickly realized for me that the “normal” sharpness completely suffices to me. Otherwise, the sauce was relatively thick, with all kinds of herbs and finely chopped vegetables. Unfortunately, the coconut was nothing to taste in view of the sharpness. Lamb Malvani Curry Now our sous boss came to the train with his mix grill plate. Mix Barbecue a selection of different Tandoori meat dishes from Chicken Tikka, Haryali Chicken Tikka, Malai Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Tikka and King Prawn Tikka. There were also Haryali Chicken Tikka – which are marinated with Minz Masala and yogurt, Malai Chicken Tikka – which are marinated with a mildly seasoned cream and yogurt and Tandoori Chicken – a spicyly marinated chicken lobe with yogurt and ginger garlic paste, which then has to be marinated 24 hours in Tori The only lamb on this plate consisted of Lamb Tikka delicate lamb meat, which is marinated 24 hours in Tandoori Masala and yogurt. Last but not least, there were two King Prawn Tikka – two giant tiles seasoned with Tandoori Masala and yogurt. All meat pieces were sufficiently large, the individual seasoning mixes were excellently tasted. Mix Grill The meat is pleasantly roasted, not too dry. The giant robes tight in the bite. Among all the different Tandoori specialties a bed of fresh, crisp salad. There was also a large bowl with a slightly sharp masalasauce. Masala Sauce to the Mix Grill Plate That was what, and also our Sous Chef couldn't really mecker. To all three dishes there was a large plate with bissfest Basmati rice, which we had to share. For us as friends okay, but if I go to dinner with others, I'd like to have my own portion. I also lacked the Naanbrot, which is enough for other Indians. Basmatireis for all three When calculating the invoice, there was a mango liqueur or mango fire at the expense of the house. Mango Likör or Mango Brand Mango Likör or Mango Brand on the house Our conclusion: We left €81.50 in Little India. The concept is courageous to open such a place in front of the place-brain. There are also two more Indians in the vicinity. However, the awards of Tripadvisor on the walls show that this place is apparently quite well accepted. We lacked the I Tüpfelchen, and in the two Lammpfannen a little more meat. Guest room
Here there are several vegan, Indian options at a fair price. the dishes are very tasty and they can also take it well.
Little india has several vegan options that are marked clearly in the menu. they also have vegan naan . we have tried two different vegan dishes. they were good, but nothing extraordinary, especially here in dresden new town.
In a simple but nicjt unpleasant atmosphere, friendly staff can really enjoy delicious and diverse restaurants. my appetizers are the samosas.
Was very nice eating! some vegetarian options that other Indian restaurants do not offer.
