Bidrage med feedbackThis is place is great!! We did an epic 25 mile ride in a very hot day, we made it to town and we want it is cold beer and good food, we just got there before they close and they stay open for us, we got a in the patio but the river an Sabrina took care of us, cold beer from local breweries and amazing salads and sandwiches, exactly what we need it!!Thank you for staying open for us!
I frequent Sabrina’s at the Forks, the staff are wonderful. I order the “ Big Boulder” as a salad instead of a sandwich and Sabrina is always accommodating to my requests. The food is QUALITY and fresh for a fair price. You can’t beat the location and river front patio!
Great healthy food from great people! I eat here at least once a week, more when there was winter meal delivery service. That was super helpful since I was injured this past winter and couldn't cook. The TBA Salad and Root Salad are my favorites. Next are the sourdough pancakes and Autumn's lemon bars. :
Sabrina's food is amazing. I tend to get some kind of root salad or caprese salad bowl, and there's never a hesitation when I want to doctor it up with something like a salmon filet...or in the case of my friend, some tri-tip on top. In fact she's well-known for her tri-tip that is made on her smoker on her back patio. She's got breakfast burritos with eggs, potatoes, cheese and a meat and no-meat option. There are sandwiches, beverages (including beer wine) and the icing on the cake, literally, a partnership with Autumn's Butter Me Up Bakery (go look that up on Facebook) where you'll find home-baked-in-Downieville sweets that are amazing.Oh, and coffee...all the kinds. Plus some grab and go food items in the refrigerator case. I've been here...I don't know...a hundred times? And I've always found something to eat, even being the pesky pescatarian that I am. Mostly because Sabrina makes sure she gets me fed. She is incredibly kind and just an amazing people person. The best kept secret? The back patio that has tables and is right on the river. It's truly magical. It might just be you and your coffee...or it might be full of people. They also host events there and when it fills up and the band kicks in, it's fantastic.Sabrina's is on one side of the space and Downieville Outfitters are on the other side. So don't be afraid to walk in. Both sets of employees are super friendly and will help you get what you need. Do give yourself a little extra time, though...there may be a bit of a wait for your homemade grub...but it will be worth it, I promise!
Hit the spot! Passing through town and stopped in for lunch. We sat outside and were treated to the gorgeous view of the Downie River. Good food that I washed down with a cappuccino.
