Costa Coffee - Dover

I had a fantastic experience at this cozy and warm coffee shop on St. James Street. The customer service was exceptional and the two baristas were extremely kind and friendly. The coffee maker had impressive skills, creating latte art that I had never seen before at a Costa coffee branch. Congratulations to the staff for such a well-run and enjoyable establishment.

As you would expect quick food cafe, however no staff present on arrival and waiting for couple minutes to be heard that my friend and I were waiting to be placing our orders.

I have come to this Costa a few times and the girls on the till always have a bad attitude to be clear, they're rude AF. From the comments below, I can tell I'm not the only one who's treated with such derision and disrespect just for spending my money here... I grew up in Walthamstow and sad to see this kind of behaviour is still being accommodated.

I want to start off by saying that the drink was good. However, the staff at this restaurant are extremely rude, aggressive, and negative. When I placed my order, I was polite and used manners such as saying thank you and please. I showed a reward on my Costa app to the worker at the till, but she just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know what it was. She didn't try to help me or get a manager for assistance. I explained that it was a reward, but I was still told to pay as if I had redeemed it. The worker was rude and unpleasant while making my drink, so I asked for a manager. She told me there was no manager present and laughed at me. I was not happy with the customer service or atmosphere in this restaurant. I would not recommend going to this Costa if you want quality service and a pleasant experience. I will not be returning to this Costa in the future. This interaction left me feeling very upset. It is clear that I am not the only one who has had a negative experience here, so I would like for there to be an investigation into this matter. The worker always wears eyeliner, has light brown hair tied up, and I can provide more information as I live nearby.

The customer service at this restaurant was lacking. I waited assuming they were busy, but they were actually chatting amongst themselves. There was no greeting and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. I ordered an espresso, but unfortunately Costa's espresso was just not up to par, as usual.
