Gumbeaux's A Cajun Cafe - Douglasville

Good food. A bit on the spicy side but, good food!!! I enjoyed everything we ordered. We started off with the creole egg rolls (chef’s kiss) My wife ordered the pork chop and my God was it delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes it came with were DEVINE!! My dish, the blackened catfish and dirty rice was good. Again, a bit salty spicy but good. The jalapeño cream corn was really good as well. We’ll both be returning here to give the entire menu a try

All the food was outstanding. Etouffee and seafood gumbo were our favorites. Best hush puppies I've had in a long time. Great rum cake with bourbon sauce. Server Jason was outstanding. Thanks for the memories!

Nice servers, the seafood chowder is the best thing here. The tiger bait shrimp and the oysters was just ok. I like my shrimp cooked all the way through, some of my shrimp was still opaque in the inside. I had some grilled oysters but I’ve had better. The oysters was better then the shrimp. I’ll never get either one again but I will definitely get the seafood chowder. The drinks are really strong here, so if alcohol is your thing, this is the place for you.

Gumbeaux's is by far the best cajun restaurant in West GA. They have great spice and flavor. You can't make reservations and they won't sit you until your whole party is with you, but the wait is always worth it. Highly recommend getting there early.

Pretty cool spot. The food was very flavorful and amazing. We tried the alligator bites, the Cajun egg rolls, red beans and rice, chicken and sausage gumbo, and a catfish po boy with fries and my wife had a Louisiana margarita. Everything was seasoned to perfection and delicious!
