Vicki's Family Diner - Douglas

Nice modern retro-style diner. Great food and service. They have a dizzying array of choice on the menu. Hard to decide what to eat. I had the California Benedict. I had it served on the local Mancini’s Italian bread. My son had the Chipotle Chicken Melt and it was so good that even being full he couldn’t stop eating it. My only complaint here is that the stools at the bar have no foot rest, so I couldn’t sit comfortably. So unless your tall, choose a booth or table.

Place can be difficult at first to find, not well directed to on maps, easy to pass over when driving. When getting in, it has some cool decor, friendly staff, and delicious food. I ordered the Breakfast for champs with a T-bone, it was good, just keep your salt shaker close. The experience definitely was one to remember, will return for sure to try more from the menu when in the area. I'd recommend. :

Best french toast with fresh bananas and strawberries... Big portions and friendly staff ... I believe her name was Mary very nice lady !! Next time I visit the area I will be eating there again!

Service was good. Food came VERY quickly. Everything was exactly how we ordered. Will be back.

You cannot beat the amount of food you get for the price. Average $12.00 a person. The staff are friendly, always greet us with a smile, and no extra charge for the smile. Open from 7 30 am until likeb2 pm never had a bad meal. We have all of their omelets out if this world. Coffee is always hot and fresh. Best place to eat!
