Taco Bar - Distrito Chacras de Coria

We ordered the Taco and the Burrito. The Burrito was disgusting, extremely salty and with two pounds of cheese. I couldn't even finish it. Taco wasn't that great either. But it's a good place to buy a beer. You have a really large terrace and it is cheap. The waiters are really nice. They offered me a free drink while we waited for our taxi! I would go back for drinks, but not for food

We ate in Taco Bar because we wanted to make a drink in Lujan city centre, but the tacos weren't good. We didn't know where to eat, but there were huge letters that this as TACO BAR(! That's how we stopped. It was at 10 a.m. on a Friday, and while some of the bars and restaurants around seemed empty, that was extremely busy and every table was taken. I don't really understand because the food wasn't good. It's more about not doing anything special. I had no idea how a Taco bar was in Argentina, so basically we tried five or six tacos. They were cheap, about three or four dollars, but the waitress looked at us like we were crazy about five tacos for two people. What came out was more than enough food, we had decided to eat everything. The seafood taco was absolutely rough, and the pseudo-octopus was basically rubber. The vegetarian was only corn and a wet salsa that basically went through a soft taco dish. I can't remember what the rest of them were edible, but it doesn't matter, because I wouldn't go back here anyway. The desert someone ordered next to us literally came into a plastic bag. So, I guess they really do their own kitchen here? Service was fine and prompt, it is not really expensive place.

My wallet was stolen from me from inside this restaurant. Afterwards the server was completely unhelpful only saying he had noticed the thief leaving and thought it was weird that he hadn 't ordered anything. Since they didn 't receive debit or credit and I was the only one with cash, they wanted one of my friends to leave an ID card or something of value behind. My girlfriend and I were more concerned with going to the police, so our friend left a schoolbook behind. Unfortunately for her, her phone number was in the book and she and her parents were harassed by phone until they went to pay. When they did, the owner (who wasn 't present at the time of the theft) told them we had thrown the receipt in the server 's face (a complete fabrication). They refused to call the police, saying it would be better if we went to the police station because it was only a few blocks away. In fact, it was not possible to make a statement at the station that was 4 blocks away, we had to walk for 15 more minutes. At the other station, we learned that of course it is better if the police is called from where the crime was commited. It is also illegal for the restaurant to ask us to leave anything behind, especially an ID card. This restaurant made me feel unsafe for the first time since I arrived in Mendoza 6 months ago. Instead of receiving aid and empathy, we were insulted and made to feel as if we were liars. If you want to eat good tacos in Mendoza, I would definitely recommend Taco Tabasco, in Aristides Villanueva. A bit more expensive, but better in every way.

The Taco Bar is a great restaurant to visit at your most casual night in Chacras de Coria. Dinner is probably the most expensive restaurant in Chacras. The Guacamole is fantastic! The tacos are great. Great value!!! Must try.

There was a fast Cinco de Mayo margarita and made the mistake of ordering a taco and a burrito. The Taco was literally only pieces of unseasoned chicken with some tasteless black beans and salad. The burrito was a little better, but only because it was covered with cheese and it wasn't a burrito. It was just a replica of the tacos without salad, just cheese. Never waste your time on a taco here. You need to get a whole spice cabinet for the kitchen before another soul should eat there. My friend said it was something of the worst food he ever had in his life, and I agree. Margarita was pretty good, so props to the bartender. And the salsa and chips were pleasant. So, if you go, keep on these things.
