Kanons Korner Green St Dingle

Chips are fabulous. Vert reasonable. Beef is nice buns are great. Chicken burger has ketchup on it, maybe they could consider making it a standalone burger with mayo etc.. owner is extremely sound fella.

A bit random giving a chippy five stars but unlike most places, the fish and chips are made fresh to order. The chips are actually crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside which is virtually unheard of. The fish is locally sourced when available and battered and fried upon ordering. Unfortunately, there is no seating and you will be eating your food out of a paper bag but take advantage of the fact that you can chat to the owner about his shop and food. The only thing I would love to see is the use of more sustainable packaging. Boo to the plastic forks and styrofoam containers. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area.

This plaice (HAHA FISH PUN XDDD) is disgusting. literally it smells like fish ew wtf clean it up!

Really enjoyed this cool spot in little Dingle town! It's a walk up restaurant and you take it to go. I liked this aspect of it because we were able to eat on picnic tables outside of a beautiful Catholic Church. I only give it 4 stars rather than 5 because I found it hard to get on the Fish Chips bandwagon while traveling Ireland. It's a hard meal to mess up but too greasy for my liking. Despite that, If you're looking for good Irish fish and chips, Kanon's is a must try while in Dingle.
