Old Rao Restaurant - Dhāruhera

Even though the building and interiors have been upgraded significantly however the service standards and specially the food quality has come down significantly. The warmth in their service and the welcoming smile has totally disappeared.

This restaurant is a good spot for breakfast items, but the prices are a bit high compared to other popular roadside eateries between Delhi and Haridwar. The service was just okay.

If I had written this review a few years back, i would have rated it as a 5 star restaurant but though they have improved infrastructure a lot, the service has taken a dip. Except that ofcourse, they serve tasty and hygienic vegetarian food with many options. Surely the best place for having lunch/dinner if you are traveling from Delhi to Bawal or on the way back

Had Lunch on 11 November 22 The place is well located about 100kms away from Delhi thus after 200km travel from Jaipur this place provides a well designated resting place to clam down and chill. This complex houses a big restaurant dishing out Indian and Chinese recipes and also has souvenier and knick-knack shops to buy goodies. The menu includes mainly North Indian fare with Chole Bhature Roti Sabji Dal Chai Pakora Lassi priming the orders. Priced resonably, the food tase is satisfying. Portions are decent to large so order with constraint. I will recommend this place for the travellers with kids and senior citizen as well. Hope this review helps. Enjoy

The food was fantastic and the service was great. However, the restaurant was too crowded. They could have improved the parking area management.
