London Chop House - Detroit

I was referred this restaurant from a friend and it did not disappoint. Victor at the bar, is fantastic! All the food was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and the experience.

A for nostalgia. Great valet and personal doorman welcome but exponentially downhill after that. Grossly overpriced and the service and food is far from the 5* pricing. Very loud and the live music was not at all appropriate for dinner. Would not recommend.

This place is truly a gem. Revived after a 2 decade hiatus in 2012, they have done a phenomenal job staying true to the original form. We were delighted by the live jazz. The food was delicious, particularly enjoyed the steak and the Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out

Terrible experience, was treated very unfairly on my wife's birthday. The manager was very rude and distasteful when asked a valid question on how others were allowed to bring in a birthday cake and I wasn't able to bring in my wife's very expensive birthday cake to share with our party. We also wasn't informed that there was a dress code for specifically men and was recommended to sit in the cigar lounge due to a guest within our party not having on a collared shirt, however there were numerous people in the establishment who did not have on a collard shirt. I booked the reservation a week in advance and was never informed of any of the stipulations needed to dine here. Was not a good first time experience and would not recommend this spot. We felt discriminated against, isolated and belittled and ultimately that is not a welcome experience.

Our experience was delightfully enhanced the moment we entered the outside door. From the totally outstanding doorman to our waiter and the bartender, we were treated professionally and perfectly. The food, filets and enhancements were superb. The wine was first rate. They made our 40th anniversary dinner a night to remember. Worth the money.
