Bidrage med feedbackThis is a charming little restaurant with friendly staff and clientele. They feature fantastic live music from local talent on Saturday evenings. I will definitely be returning more frequently in the future.
A big thank you to the staff at this restaurant in Derry for brightening up our rainy afternoon. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and even recommended some great places to visit and stay. And they were Liverpool FC fans too! The toasties and chips we had were delicious and we had no complaints except for having to leave. Thanks again and we hope to visit again soon!
This restaurant is a charming, family-owned establishment with old-school vibes. On certain nights, they play a variety of fantastic music, making for a great atmosphere. Plus, they serve delicious homemade food.
We dropped in for a drink after dinner at the Maldron. We were just wandering around the walled town and saw this unassuming doorway. Popped in on a quiet Monday night. Only a few people, but there was one old gent at the corner of the bar, and we had a lovely hour-long conversation with him. He was on his last drink of the night, a cinnamon thingie. He told us he did not live in old-town, but a cab would take him home. If you are a tourist, this is the local place you seek. Friendly publican, warm environment, nice locals.
See title. Sorry, I wrote this review in the title. To repeat, if you're looking for a proper Derry bar, this one is hard to beat.
