The Bakewell Tart Shop Coffee House

Ordering a simple coffee here, I was challenged whilst ordering at the counter that I could have a seat if I wasn 't going to consume whatever I was carrying in that there bag there. I was taken aback by this rude attack that came out of nowhere with no premise. Literally we had just bought cakes for later from a bakery and did not have a carrier bag or backpack. I 'm not sure your rude accusation was worth making, just to get a bad review. My son and I will definitely be putting the word out that this is a cafe to avoid. I should mention I am a women of nearly 50, a regular to Bakewell and honestly used to far better customer service.

This is a lovely coffee shop. Food is delish. Customer service is fantastic. The owner, Peter is friendly and funny. He puts a smile on everyone’s face in his cafe. Not something you witness everyday. Get yourself down at Graze. Enjoy!

An excellent café in the heart of Bakewell. Very friendly staff and a great choice of food at very reasonable prices. If you're a meat eater then try the bacon sandwich. In my opinion the best bacon sarnie in Bakewell! Great coffee too and in my favourite....vanilla latte...they add just the right amount of flavouring. While dogs aren't allowed in the main café there's a dog friendly secret garden at the back.

Lovely cafe and gift shop. We were a group of 6 and had already been turned away from another cafe (no room). Thankfully we were signposted to this little gem by a local! The few that had coffee said it was amazing. The tea was good. Really nice food. The owner was really friendly. Had us all laughing. Would visit again if back in the area.

Myself and my ladies got recommended this lovely cafe this morning. We had amazing breakfast, the staff were lovely and welcoming. The decor was very vibrant. We will definetly go back.
