Delicious cream tea! the best scones I've had for a long time. Super-Quick service too.

The owner was incredibly friendly, the service first rate and to camouflage it the best bakewell we ever had. opened early, when he expected us, all that and with a view of the dead, worth a visit, not disappointed and we traveled from lincoln.

Beautiful eating in a stunning location. the service was friendly and fast. eating was fresh and well cooked, although the portions were a little small. a star who was taken when the clogged animal was a freak in the window!

A cuppa with view! very expensive, expect to pay tourist prices. they do not give empty tassen with a cup of tea that is a little strange, but apparently many places do this today. best to get there before 3 o'clock if they don't want to miss it.

Perfect place for rest and refuelling after @Monsal Head walk/hiking/biking, great coffee and homemade cakes, locally sourced lunch/dinner meals. Two car parks (don't forget loose change as parkomats coins only, 1.50£/hour). Ideal spot for people with restricted moving as straight from car you can spend hours watching valley bellow. Been here many times and will back as never get bored. And just short drive to Bakewell
