Bidrage med feedbackFor a well-earned break after driving one day, this is the place. Friendly service and cold beer! Meals were what you expect quickly easy. The selection of meat for sale from the local appetite was a beautiful surprise.
Two ice creams $10,50! We had dinner there, steaks, scotchfilets were about one inch thick served with chips and salads or vegetables $33. I guess they weren't too bad. Desert ice creams. Note a special bump, chips and salad $20 but was told to steak would be as hard as leather. All in all, friendly service.
The Willare Bridge Street House is located next to the lower areas of the Fitzroy River. First, the travelers only see the availability of fuel and food/coffee (that you are able to go, but there are more. If you are free camping along the river you can get provisions, you can replace the CD you are tired of hearing in the car, you can choose from a reasonable selection of books and souvenirs (cards, books, tea towels, etc.). Forget your hat. There is also a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Meals will satisfy appetite, but they are not five stars. There are also camping facilities (there is a pool for guests and Donga accommodations). Again this is simple, but with air conditioning, refrigerator, very comfortable bed and shower, what else do you need?
At this casual eatery on the street, we paid at the counter and filled our own cups. The milk was kept in a refrigerator next to the coffee machine. It was a nice stop for a quick break. Additionally, the Roadhouse had a small swimming pool for guests to enjoy. What's unique about this place is that they offer a selection of CDs for guests to choose music to listen to while dining on the street.
We decided to have dinner at this restaurant (since there aren't many other options around). I ordered the barramundi, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My husband got the steak and practically licked his plate clean. Our teenager had the burger and said it was delicious. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the remote location.
