Cowboy's Saloon- Denver

Hot food was lukewarm. Cold food was room temp. Everything was just ok. We would have ordered drinks, but they were pricey. I know it just opened...but the place was empty. There were more employees than customers, yet we still had to wait on our server.

The service left much to be desired. We weren't attended to and had to go to the bar for water, which never arrived. We had to actively request service and get their attention. I specifically asked them to bring the check to me at the end, but they ended up giving it to someone else. However, it is a nice place for kids to enjoy themselves on Tuesdays. Don't expect top-notch service, but despite the challenges, the staff remained friendly. On a positive note, the busboy worked extremely hard, and we decided to give him an extra tip in appreciation for his efforts.

Despite being primarily focused on live music and a country atmosphere, the food was surprisingly tasty. A few of us opted for the BBQ and loved it, while others chose burgers, mac and cheese, and chicken pot pie—all of which were enjoyable. We also tried their freshly made cornbread, which was delightful. Although the service was quite slow, we didn’t have any other complaints. Overall, it’s definitely a fun spot to visit!
