Bidrage med feedbackThe portions are large, the location is great, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The menu is extensive, catering to all tastes. We decided to try a mix of breakfast and lunch items. I usually avoid ordering eggs benedict as I feel it can be disappointing, so I opted for the classic avocado on toast with a poached egg. The meal was quite simple, with half an avocado scooped onto toast. Despite this, it was delicious thanks to the fresh rocket and well-cooked haloumi. I prefer to avoid thin, bland supermarket-style bread, so I was glad they didn't use that. Perhaps they could consider omitting the bread altogether and adding toasted almonds instead. The menu here offers more traditional dishes, without any strange or trendy hipster food options. The dishes are still interesting and well-prepared. The downside of our visit was the restroom situation. The toilets are located through the kitchen clean-up area and are not very impressive.
I must say that while this restaurant may not have all the fancy decorations and features of Girdlers Cafe down the street, it definitely impresses with its delicious food and affordable prices! My partner and I never have to order two meals here because the portion sizes are so generous. Believe me, one plate is plenty!
We ordered the steak burger and also the calamari with salad (which they were happy to swap the salad for chips instead! Nice sauces and taste. Awesome locatiom and view of the beach.
...we had lunch at Sea Bar (next to Seachange . My Cajun spiced chicken salad Lamb cutlets with kumara mash. Fish and Chips Like Seachange, there was attentive service and the food was really good. I actually didn't even finish my salad which is a rarity. I was very impressed that there were two pieces of chicken (I was expecting slivers of chicken and chunks of avocado. I may have also eaten a third of my friend's chips since they were so crispy!
