Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this place for a weekend lunch. The place has classic design, it looks like you are on a ship or boat from the 18th. century. They have a wide range of foods, so it takes a little time to look through them. I checked the menu one night before to save some time and on the site they also have pictures of the food that it is easier to choose. Most plates are traditional Hungarian cuisine, so you don't expect hipster to taste dishes. The portions are quite large and the quality is also good. I went with the crispy duck with crushed sweet potatoes and purple cabbage it was excellent! The others were also satisfied with their orders. I also tried the cottage cheese dumplings, which has 4 dumplings, so it is a lot for two people and also tasted great. The service and the staff were professional, although the waiters are somewhat cold and not very smiling. We had to wait a bit until the food arrives, but everything was really fresh, so I don't mind waiting. The prices are also okay, they are more in the upper range, but in return you get quality. Overall, I would recommend this place if you were looking for a nice place for lunch / dinner. The place is pretty busy so I would advise you to make a reservation before you secure a table.
Good restaurant. Nice staff. Good food, really good desserts. It took a while until the desserts arrived, but nothing to make someone impatient. Make sure to book a table when you go during the weekend.
Really great food, everything a bit different from normal Hungarian food, but really excellent quality, fresh, good service, and a main course alone was a lot, unless you have a great appetite. The price is very reasonable, typically 3500-4500 for most networks including page. Very recommended, enjoy!
This restaurant is located right at Bem ter, which makes it easy for everyone to go to. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings. The food is delicious too :
