Burtree Inn - Darlington

Our Girls Christmas Meal on December 13, 2023 was a 5-star experience from start to finish. Andy greeted us warmly as always, and our table was beautifully set for the festive season. The staff provided friendly and courteous service, even when they were busy. The food, expertly cooked and beautifully presented by the chef, offered great value for money. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable. Congratulations to the team at Burtree for another job well done.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I must say that the food was absolutely fantastic. The service was top-notch as well. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Never fails to live up to high standard of food we only been in a big family group last few years for special ocassions and its always 100% for quality of food service by staff and price well done to all involved

Salmon in tomato bisque with shrimp. The salmon was poor, the sauce was slidified and shrimp rock hard. Whole meal less than lukewarm. To make matters worse, I ordered veg with it expecting broccoli or peas things that go with fish. I was served roast potatoes carrots swede and cabbage. Absolutely awful. I was in a group of 9, I never touched my veg and ate a couple of mouthfuls of the salmon. Your staff weren’t attentive and failed to notice or ask if everything was alright with our meals. Terrible experience.

Really good service and friendly staff, the food was out of this world! I had steak pie a large one my partner had the roast Beef dinner! Both meals absolutely fantastic. Only problem is that we are here for 2days break from York and would really love this pub to be our local with food at this level
