Bidrage med feedbackI took my 83-year-old grandmother here for tee, she became all the time when she grew up in dallas and would visit the adolphus with her friends and husband in her 20s! we went the entire lobby/coffee shop / rodeo bar / french room areas as we remembered what they used to be before the renovation and all the staff we met were so friendly and go out of their way to original details that remain. connie was our server on tee and she was fantastic, we had several other people who refill our drinks and they were also incredibly pleasant. a young man brought out the tee package so that she can buy it! highly recommended.
We sat and had drinks in the bar that were incredible. it was great for cocktails before dinner. we'll come back when we're in town!
Wow, what a cool experience! I was in town for my birthday weekend and a friend sent this pop-up bar to me called "bar lilly" in the French room in the hotel. This unique pop-up offers state-of-the-art handmade cocktails with stunning floral vibes. the room had fresh flowers all the time and the vibe was really quite sully. perfect for a date night. the cocktails start around $20 each, so make sure they prepare for it, they also offer beer and apfel wines if they opt for a less expensive and imaginative drink. Moreover, they serve small bites and appetizers when they arrive early enough is a cool tipp when they play a local French band on Thursday between 5-11 clock live in the salon. the bar will be only for 2 months, but until the juni 2022.
The restaurant is beautiful, located in the hotel adolphus, which is also very beautiful and offers a valet service when they dine in the hotel. the restaurant has a large dining room with lots of natural light, perfect for a special event or if it is just in the mood for a beautiful tee season with a related or friend. make sure to make a reservation and make it early, this place books are in advance. the meal was $65pp and included a glass champagne, which offers tea time menu and lowerless tee coupled with its cure. the service was on point and eveyone was supwr friendly and gracious. my only criticism, and the reason for the 4 stars was on some of the hearty menu options. the cucumber sandwich and the croissant with egg salad were both very stale, and the savory eclair was everything, but I couldn't eat it. it was clear that eating was not freshly prepared and that was a little disappointing for the price and experience we expected.
? What a sweet Valentine's evening at my favorite Dallas historic hotel the Adolphus, which opened back in 1912. It's always been a huge part of the city's rich history and culture. And there's not a more beautiful restaurant than the famous French Room'. It features immaculate French cooking that never disappoints. We've had many memorable times and celebrations here throughout the years. Valentine's ? 2022 was another special occasion to add to our list. One very romantic dinner with excellent food, music an ambiance at French Room for a Vintage Valentine Dinner. ? #valentinesday2022 #romanticgetaway #travelwithterri
