Bidrage med feedbackSoo, I eat pho a lot. We make it at home and I always like to try it everywhere to appreciate the differences in the herbs and spices. Now I gotta say, this is the worst pho I have ever ate coming from the asian community. For around $16, it's a disgracein quality. The broth was quite bland but the Hoisin sauce on the table is what makes up for the lack of it. I also stillremember the super pungent smell of like sewage, as one could describe it while first walking into the restaurant. I didn't evengo on a busy time, it was around 11 on an early weekday so can't imagine they were having some issues with large capacities ofpeople going in as one of the variables in the matter. This isn't the worst part. The number one reason I gave this a 1 star isbecause of the mere fact that the meat was going rancid and specifically the rare beef. I had ordered the brisket and rare beefand I am not a picky eater as I typically eat everything but this was one of the first times that I could not finish the bowlbecause of the thought of the nauseating meat. The brisket was also the most interesting experience I've ever had from anynoodle place. It was like I could chew on it forever and was very tough. It gave a really off texture and taste that youwouldn't typically expect from a brisket, so much that it left me gagging that as well. I'm pleasantly surprised that I didn'tget sick after eating from here. A tip for the owners. Definitely needs a food safety protocol and you should probably work onyour soup some more. I can't judge the other dishes since that was my first time going there and last.
Not the best customer service. The pho ended up grossing us out and neither could finish. After eating a while we both started to feel queasy and figured out we’d been eating almost equal parts broth and oil each bite. The broth was saturated in oil, really I wish I would’ve taken photos. I tried to absorb some of the oil in attempt to eat the soup again. Dipped four paper towels/napkins into the soup just to watch the oil absorbs onto both sides of the paper. Banh Mi was tiny and overpriced.
? ? ? ? ? I can say that the only thing I would come back for would be the spring rolls, but I won’t! I told the gentleman that I didn’t eat meat, I ordered a vegan ? pho bowl. I ate ate at least a 3rd of my bowl and discovered that I had something with a distinct taste and a flavor like texture…… OMG, it was chicken ? I informed him about it, he walked away! Im thinking he’s about to replace it, so 3-4 minutes pass. I go to the counter and ask if I can have another to-go since I clearly wasn’t satisfied with my meal and he said, NO! ? I didn’t make a fuss, but told him that it was good customer service to at least accommodate me for my meal being ruined by having a sizable meat portion in my pho bowl ?!!!!! I give you the five thumbs down ? ? ? ? ?
Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and happy to lend advice. The food is so good and gives comfort in every bite! ?Food: 5/5
This a pho spot located in Deep Ellum. They have a vast menu outside of pho, too. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely just “okay”. I ordered the chicken shrimp pho (there was very little seasoning on the chicken or within the broth), and cheese wontons (there’s were so crisp and creamy). My friend ordered the pad tai and spring rolls (loved the spring rolls, I’ve not a huge fan of pad thai). One thing, I can say us, the portions are nice sized. I couldn’t even finish my bowl. I was so full.I don’t know if I’ll be back, but it was okay.
