Cafe Herrera - Dallas

There were not many people there, so we had great, attentive service. the margaritas were excellent and well done. eating was very good, all in our party were happy. the service was all we wanted. it was very empty at the time, so I'm sure it helped.

The place was closed! Why could you make a reservation when the place was closed?

We visited the restaurant for our 7 pm reservation at 6:45 and was turned away and told that they could not seat us and they were not servicing anyone right now. I told them I made our reservation over a month ago and the man was was rude and had an attitude when speaking to me. Never said he was sorry or apologized but said “everyone wants to eat here but you can walk 5 minutes down the street to go eat”. If we wanted to go to whatever that place was we would have made a reservation there but we did not. We should have been called or emailed about our reservation to at least let us know they were going to cancel us so we could make other plans just common courtesy. We will never come back to this restaurant. HORRIBLE customer service and very rude and not apologetic. We will also make sure everyone we know that stays downtown near this restaurant will not go to this establishment.

Waitress would not take our order. Had to leave our table after 30 minutes.

When we arrived we were told that they were not taking reservatiins, when we actually had one. There are no waitress. We had to order at the bar and pay and then be seated We ordered guacamole and they did not bring chips Very bad service or no service at all! Food was ok, it could be better too
