Bidrage med feedbackWe enjoyed our meal at Cuu Long, a restaurant serving fresh Vietnamese food with plenty of vegetables. It is a great option for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten-free diets. Just be sure to communicate any dietary restrictions. It's worth noting that Cuu Long is not the same as Saigon Place, despite sharing the same address on Google. Cuu Long offers traditional Vietnamese dishes in a casual setting, while Saigon Place appears to have a more fusion-style menu with fancy plated meals and desserts. I will definitely return to Cuu Long, as we had a great experience.
The Saigon Palace has transitioned from being a Vietnamese restaurant to a more traditional Asian establishment, offering a variety of Chinese and Malaysian dishes. While the food is good, it lacks the fresh and clean flavors that I used to love about Vietnamese cuisine. It is still worth visiting to see if it suits your taste preferences. The Chef mentioned that the current menu reflects the demand for Asian dishes over traditional Vietnamese options. The restaurant is BYO only and our party of 4 found the prices to be very reasonable, with most dishes costing less than $20. The service remains consistent, but the décor has changed to a more generic style. Overall, it is worth visiting as a local mixed Asian restaurant.
My daughter and I went here for dinner had the make your own rice paper rolls, the pancake (so so so yummy) and the spring rolls. Servings were great size. Clean and fast service Food was delicious and tasty and fresh will definitely be back
A favourite Friday night spot for my GF and I - friendly service and tasty Vietnamese food. Vietnamese pancake is a little over-priced but is definitely worth trying. My favourite is the chilli lemongrass chicken and tomato rice on the side to mix it up. BYO wine with a bottle shop across the road is also a tick from me.
Went for a quick bite to eat after seeing the Banh Xeo pancake advertised in the window - and it was delicious. Reminiscent of meals in Vietnam. We also shared the coconut beef and the spiced tofu - both which were packed with flavour with spices and herbs! even though not necessarily Vietnamese.
