The Taj - Craven

I had planned a walking trip that ended in Malham and was looking for a place to eat. Before my trip, I checked on Just Eat and saw that Taj offered delivery to the hostel where I was staying. After walking 18 miles that day, I was looking forward to my meal from Taj. I confirmed the delivery option on Just Eat and placed an order for about £25. However, my order was soon cancelled. When I called Taj, they informed me that they didn't want to deliver to my address, as it was 10 miles each way. I was left feeling hungry and disappointed by Taj, as they advertised a service they had no intention of providing. It was a disappointing end to a long day of hiking.

We ordered a set meal for 4 on our way home after a day at York Races. It was absolutely fantastic, with delicious and varied dishes. The Taj restaurant forgot to include the rice, but the naans were great and the poppadoms were crispy. Overall, the portion sizes were just right.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! I ordered a takeaway, paid for it, and then they canceled my order. They're supposed to be open until 11 PM, but I placed my order at 10:40 PM. When I called to inquire, the man on the phone was extremely rude, insisting they were closed. Despite this, I received a message saying my delivery would arrive at 11:30 PM. I will never dine at this restaurant again.

Poor quality food! Ordered poppadoms which didn’t arrive! The pickles and condiments did though! Byriani dishes really poor lacking taste and the sauce was similarly disappointing. Service though was prompt and friendly driver delivered on time.

The Chicken Tikka Rajasthani is unbeatable. Legendary in fact. Freindly service and good value for money.
