The Social Goat Tavern - Covington

There were 10 of us on a busy Sunday about 12:30 for lunch. They were very nice and the food was delicious, but they were understaffed. It took almost an hour to get our food, they didn't make one of our orders so two people shared. We would try them again, though. Like I said, very friendly and delicious food.

Nice place for bar food. Very tasty and the atmosphere is great. Eat inside or out. We had a nice lunch with Cubans, chicken tenders and a grilled chicken sandwich. All very excellent. Service was very friendly and efficient. Goat paintings inside were very cool. Parking close might be an issue during peak times, but we?ll worth a short walk.

Walked in with a team of five without a reservation and was greeted by a lovely host who made some adjustments to fit us without a wait. The entire team was super friendly and the food was great. A wide range of items and they were willing to throw together a custom options for some of our pickier eaters. 10/10 recommend, especially for groups

Out of town visitor, trying to get dinner a beer after hard days work. First was told I have to get my own beer from the bar in the back in order to sit outside. I noticed another group was served food beer in at table next to me. Next trying to get waitress attention multiple times, finally got to order a salad. The salad came with rotten lettuce which I had to pick out. Later on back at hotel, I found out I got food poisoning. To top it off, I asked for another beer, and was later told the waitress thought I was going to get my own beer. Collectively, it was like they were trying to be really rude.

My husband I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly the waitress greeted us immediately. We ordered and appetizer first so we could look at the menu. The hummus came out and was great. We ordered the BBQ burger grouper tacos. Both were fantastic. We'll stop by again when we're in Covington.
