Michael's Off Main - Courtenay

Hands down the best brunch cafe in Courtenay and Comox. Seriously if this restaurant was in downtown Vancouver there would be lines consistently out the door, the food is that good. Love their Cesar, nice a muddy, they add horse radish that add a nice kick! The chicken and waffles was juice and delicious. Loved the prawn Benny it was divine!

Great little place with good food and good music. Came for breakfast and they were playing 90's hip-hop (the good early 90s stuff). Had the breakfast sandwich special and a coffee and when I finish my meal, I didn't feel rushed out like some places. I got to sit, read the news, have some coffee while listening to Queen Latifah and LL Cool J tracks. Oh yeah, the food was good and they should bottle whatever that special sauce was on the sandwich. It made the meal. Would recommend.

I have to say the experience we had here was over the moon to say the least. So friendly, and a home like service but on a professional hospitality level. The food for me was quite delicious, a great place to savour if you are searching for eats, that will satisfy and comfort your deepest cravings. We went here during a storm and there were 6 power outages and yet they still remained calm, produced delicious food, and gave the best service anyone could expect. The interior décor is really fun, eccentric, mix-match modern contemporary direction, mural that invokes thoughts of appetite and adventure. The music and vibes are quite warm and upbeat, as are the people. I whole heartedly recommend this place if at least to try, it is thoroughly worth every dollar. FYI: The best Caesar..... I have ever had. It isn't just a beverage. It will really quench your thirst and taste buds! The photos on my phone do no justification as to how everything really was!

Delicious food and friendly service! They made sure my meal was dairy free, and had vegetarian options. Portions were good and the coffee kept coming. Music was fun and the atmosphere was lively. Will be back!

Very impressed! We know what a good brunch is and this was top notch. My partner said this was the best Benny he’s ever had! My dish was delicious- felt light and healthy. Would highly recommend!! Love from vancouver x
