We have been frequent diners at the Oyster Bar and when we had family in from out of town, we knew this would be a nice place to take them for dinner. Boy were we wrong! We made a reservation and were seated over 15 minutes late and then waited another 15 to 20 minutes until our server came to our table. I love the service every time we go (Oyster bar). They are always happy to share their recommendations on tailoring a dish, for your personal enjoyment. Top notch food, as expected. Even the customers have made for great company.

Still the best quality seafood I can find in SLC, but the food preparation has declined. Orange rolls were a gross texture and overcooked. Sides seemed overcooked and then cooled down before being served. Driving home the message that the meal was piping hot at some point long before it was served. My neurodivergent brain needs to see menu options in writing, whether online or printed on a menu. Our server was lovely, very helpful and friendly, and the food was tasty although we felt slightly overpriced for what it was. Our main issue is that we had a reservation at 7.30 and didn’t get seated until 8.15. There was no apology or any type of effort to make up for the massive wait by any on the front of house staff. In fact when we check on the wait time at 7.45 we were told it would be another 10—20 minutes, only to the be told after a further 25 minute wait, that we could have to wait up … – show
