El Pollo Norteno Food Truck - Costa Mes

Almost got robbed while leaving this place. Someone pulled a knife on me. I ran into my car and locked the door and the person hanging out in front of the place proceeded to punch and put dents all over my car with their fist. When I went back the next day they acted like they didn't care and at first said they didn't remember. The manager eventually said that she remembered and said that he was a resident onlooker that just had a few screws loose. My car would be perfectly fine and wouldn't have gone through this if I did not eat at this establishment. It leads me to believe that this is a common occurrence at this place because they didn't remember this scene the day before which for me was traumatizing. They didn't express concern or even acknowledge what I was saying. That was a month ago. I came back and waited at the counter for 10 minutes. When I tried to order the special they have until 2 they wouldn't let me order it because it was 2:05. There was nobody in there and they made me wait and then told me it was 5 minutes too late to order what would have been 5 dollars cheaper when I initially walked up to the counter. I always leave a tip when I go here and have been going here for a while but they are always very cold. At first I just thought it was a kooky thing that I overlooked and just chalked it up to them being tired from working or that they were hot in there without a/c. They continue to not value my business and act kinda weird. I can't believe how inhospitable this place is. Never going back here again.

Cannot beat the taste and price of their chicken, rice , charro beans and salsa. It my go to place for feeding parties. The takeout is always ready for pick up! Eat your heart out El Pollo Loco!!

The food here is fire. We used to order for our team at Nationstar/Mr.Cooper and food was always great. I move to Las Vegas and was in town and nearby so I had to pop in. I had 1 carnitas taco, 1 chicken taco, 1 chicken wing, and chips and salsa. All were fire ! It is the flavor due to cooking over mesquite charcoal. Not the greatest location but worth it. Just saw they have a location in Lake Forest. Definitely a must visit!

I have been here for 49minutes and my order is still not ready. If i would have gotten a heads up no chicken i would be fine with that. But i was never told oh theres no chicken. Not coming back to this place. Came in and tables are dirty and it was empty and cashiers were just talking in the corner.

Pollo Norteno is My Favorite Chicken Flavor, Prices, Great Menu, Great Customer Service, etc I surprised all the time Family, Friends, Coworkers they Love Norteno Chickeb too.Sometimes I get Flan delicious House made Flavor. Chips w Pico de Gallo salsa s the BEST!!
