Red Lobster Corpus Christi

This restaurant chain is the worst ever, with extremely long wait times. The plates and utensils were dirty with food residue. The waiter, who happened to be African American (I'm not being racist, I just can't recall her name), was indifferent and rude, accustomed to leaving food on the plates. She informed us of a party in the restaurant, causing an even longer wait. After almost 45 minutes of waiting, she delivered our food without any service or a good attitude.

The butter garlic rolls were amazing. The margarita was not great, but the sprite and root beer were delicious. We started with fresh and tasty Oysters on the half shell served with cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemon. For my main course, I ordered a dish with lobster, scallops, fried shrimp, sautéed shrimp, rice pilaf, and a loaded baked potato, all of which were fresh and delicious. My friend enjoyed fried clams, scallops, coconut shrimp, rice pilaf, a side of mac and cheese with bacon, and a loaded baked potato, which were all very tasty.

The waitress was attentive. We had the garlic muscles as an appetizer and then did the ultimate feast for our date night and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Red Hummer if you were looking for a good surf n' turf or just great seafood in general. Food: 5/5

Alicia was amazing! I came in with low blood sugar and she immediately got me a coke and some bread to help get my sugar levels up quickly. She was so busy but we felt like her only table. Even after my blood sugar had stabilized, she continued to make sure that I was OK physically.The rest of our experience was superb! I love the cheddar bay biscuits. I had a salad the blackened chicken linguine. Everything came out hot and fresh just like it was supposed to. My mom had the stuffed mushrooms and the Maine Plate at Alicia's suggestion and her recommendations were right on the money!I had my mom and kids with me and she made us feel like family. She talked to my kids and even got my shy, special needs son to come out of his shell. He even gave her a hug! He never hugs anyone. The kids were happy and she entertained them so I could have hot food.I don't eat seafood but my mom loves it. I'll keep going back just for Alicia. My family loved her and I loved her. The pasta was yummy but good service is what will keep us coming back and asking for her.I waited tables for 20 years and I'm extremely picky about service. She went above and beyond, and I'll keep coming I'm to ask just for her. Thank you Alicia!
