New China Cafe - Corpus Christi

Was welcomed by friendly staff. Delicious food assortments. Waiter was friendly and always making sure everything was okay. And if anything was needed. I highly recommend New China Cafe. God bless all staff.Food: 5/5

Omgosh the Google picture of this place was so misleading! It looked upscale but it was just an average buffet. Food was not good, and the little cakes had flys crawling on them. Also, they have a bunch of coin operated candy/toy machines that all don't work. My kids were disappointed. Service was really nice, though.Food: 1/5

The service was very good but the food was not! Most of the hot food was empty. What I did eat was ok but not a lot of flavor. The desserts were covered, but still had flies on them. I didn’t eat too much of the hot food and definitely no desserts, but still managed to get a really bad case of food poisoning that evening. I definitely do not recommend this place at all.

Never order from this place... error with my order and the son... worthless... ignores all... will ruin what the parents built... manager is a pathetic waste of time... why?... won't address issues... just say's it is your fault... let the pathetic restaurant die!

There are better options in town. There is nothing new at New China Cafe. The building is in disrepair, with water stained ceiling, faded warn down carpet, and the food was stale when I went. This was the second time I tried the place, and the experience was the same the first time. I was there for about an hour and a half. While I was there, I did not see one fresh dish brought out, or the food even checked on.
